Q: How long does it take to find our dream home?
A: As long as it takes.

Q: Once we have found it, how long does all the legal paperwork take?
A: Less than a day.

Q: How long before we get the official deeds to our new home?
A: Depending on overall demand, the deeds can take up to 13 weeks to come back.

Q: How much deposit do we need to pay, and in what currency?
A: The amount depends on what is agreed between you and the vendor. This can be anything - £1k, 25%, even (but rarely) the full amount - Turkey is no different to anywhere else, and money talks - we have sold houses at amazing prices where the buyers can put the cash on the table there and then, but this isn't the norm. Deposits can be in Sterling, Turkish Lira, Euro's. "Off Plan" and New developments can offer attractive stage payments over various lengths of time, while the project is being completed.

Q: If we change our minds, will we forfeit our deposit?
A: Definitely, Yes! Not to us, to the vendor. This is why we run a completely 'pressure free' agency. We won't take you anywhere near the Government Notary Offices to do the paperwork until you are absolutely sure.

Q: Do you know your stuff?
A: The most important people, our clients will agree that we certainly do. You can ask them yourself!

Q: Will we see a good range of properties?
A: Of course. We are tied to no developer. We can show you everything in our area that meets your budget and personal requirements. All the major developers work closely with Taurean. They don't all deal with all agents - so you may not see the full range elsewhere.

Q: How do we know you will find us the property that is right for us, rather than right for you?
A: Because we know Calis Beach, we live in Calis Beach (NOT together!) and because we live there, we will be seeing you year in, year out - and eating in the same restaurants as you. We don't need unhappy customers in our home town! You might shout at us when we are showing new clients around, and that might be a little bad for business. Not many agents live in Calis.
